FLOWERS | Rosy, Minty & Herbaceous
Geranium is native to South Africa but is now cultivated all around the world. The majority of production comes from Egypt and China where there are over 60,000 people working in the supply chain for this one ingredient alone.
The fragrant plant is referred to as a 'Honeybee' perfume. This is because an important component of Geranium is an organic compound known as 'Geraniol' which is secreted by bees to mark territory.
Its scent is highly reminiscent of rose but with unique nuances that stretch from minty to fruity.
